VERB 2008 will begin on June 2nd, 2008.
Click the link below to register for the VERB 2008. This will allow you to receive information on the program including upcoming Cool Deals and Fun Events. If you are new to the program, read below what VERB is all about.
What is it? The program is open to all youth 8-13 in Story County. The program provides you with a number of exciting opportunities to be active. Click on the links and pages to learn more about the program.
How does it work? Each person aged 8-13 can get a scorecard. The scorecard provides a way for you to track your activity during the summer. Have a parent, coach or youth leader initial a square for each hour of activity you do. Be sure to also check out some of the Cool Deals and Fun Events. These activities provide good deals and fun ways to stay active in the summer. Attending these will allow you to check off the special boxes on your scorecard. The new scorecard is available and can be downloaded and printed.
You can win grand prizes by turning in the scorecard. Prizes include a Nintendo Wii, iPods, coldstone coupons, bowling passes, snow skiing passes and much more.
We will be adding new activities and promotions all the time so the most important thing is to register through our electronic registration page so that we can send you (and your parents) updates on all of the programming that will take place. When you register you will receive a customized VERB Summer Scorecard t-shirt, a series of calendars with all the VERB events and other information about the program. Only the first 900 participant to register will receive a VERB t-shirt. Register right away to ensure that you get one!
